LPW - Elgin, 11J, 6S, 14K gold original B.W.C.Co. HC with beautiful enamel detail including an idyllic home scene to front in cream and black enamel, floral detail to rear in cream and black enamel, remainder of front and rear with very attractive black enamel floral detail, scalloped band, gold cuvette with Christmas 1886 presentation engraving, white enamel SS dial, SW-LS, gilt mvt, s#2176586. Gross weight of assembled watch 40.3 dwt (62.7 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: NR, fully wound, balance is gummy, overhaul needed, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, main plate with some scratches at perimeter between pendant area and adjacent case screw, some haze spots to main plate; dial with light hls in visible portion; fine hands, hour and minute with finish loss to spades; case shows very light wear, front with crease type dent to lower-right, rear with ding toward right perimeter, superb engraving detail, enamel with some small losses at front dent and rear ding, enamel otherwise excellent, case front lift spring needing assistance to open lid through the initial portion of its opening range; tight bow, crown shows very little wear; good glass crystal.
